Department of Islamic History

The department of Islamic History was started in the year 2015 with Economics and Political science as the complementary courses. At the initial stage there were 45 students and one teaching faculty in the department. The department also provides an open course in ‘Islamic Economics and Banking’.

Aims and Objective of the Course

  • To familiarize the students with the history of Islam, its empires and greatness, and of the decay, unrolling one of the richest and most instructive panoramas in history.
  • To introduce history with its theory and method
  • To familiarize the Arab World and its socio religious political issues
